Yixuan Wang previously received a Master’s degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University, where they developed a strong foundation in pedagogy and cross-cultural communication. Before joining Pitt, Yixuan spent a year teaching Chinese at a Texas public elementary school. Yixuan’s s current research focuses on contemporary Chinese media, digital humanities, and questions of authorship in the age of AI, alongside interests in calligraphy and East Asian cinema.
