Education & Training
My research interests focus on Japanese language pedagogy and Second Language Acquisition (SLA), with a particular emphasis on narration and storytelling. I am currently exploring the role of multimodality in language education, including projects involving shadowing and video creation. In addition to teaching language courses, I actively engage in language and cultural exchanges through extracurricular activities, fostering connections among students. I have also taught a collaborative short-term course on the sustainability of Pittsburgh and Kobe, in partnership with Konan University in Japan.
