North Korea Talk Series: Panel II: North Korea Beyond Politics

March 8, 2019 - 6:00pm

The current détente between the U.S. and North Korea is a welcome change. Yet, will it prove to be more than just a fleeting moment? Many say North Korea will never give up its nuclear program. Are we just seeing more of the same? Or do we have an historic opportunity to make real change?

Reaching beyond politics, this panel invites leading scholars in academic and cultural exchanges with North Korea to reflect on how non-political engagements can help North Korea’s integration into international society.
